The NH Developmental Services Quality Council is hosting several listening sessions with the Bureau of Developmental Services to gather ideas, thoughts and suggestions about two important rules outlining the rights of people with developmental disabilities, HeM 202 and HeM 310. HeM 310 is the rule that details the Rights of Persons Receiving Developmental Services or Acquired Brain Disorder Services in the Community and HeM 202 details the Rights Protection Procedures for Developmental Services.
During these sessions, we’ll review the rights in HeM 310 and the procedures for enforcing those rights in HeM 202. We want to hear what’s working and what is not, if anything is missing and any other suggestions.
The Quality Council will use this feedback to develop our written comments for the and the Bureau, who will review this feedback, feedback from the Quality Council and other input as they make changes.
In 2027, all stakeholders will have the opportunity to review the draft rule and provide additional feedback.
